An individual may ask a priest to offer a Mass for several reasons: for example, in thanksgiving, for the intentions of another person (such as on a birthday), or, as is most common, for the repose of the soul of someone who has died. What does it mean to have a Mass "offered" for someone? One must never forget the infinite graces that flow from the Sacrifice of the Mass which benefit one’s soul!
If you still have questions, watch the video for a short walk-through of how to book a Mass Intention online!
Do I have to leave a note? No. You may leave it blank.
How do I indicate that my Mass intention is a 10th anniversary of death or 1st wedding anniversary? First, select the occasion. Next, in the “Notes” section simply type “10th Anniversary” or “1st Anniversary”.
Can I still get a physical Mass card? Yes. To receive a physical Mass card, please indicate it in “Notes”. We will leave the card for you to pickup in the rectory mailbox, located around the side of the church building, in the glassed-in porch
Can I pick up the card the same day? Yes. If you order the card before we close, we can leave it for you for pickup outside of the office.
Is the Sanctuary Lamp available for booking online? Yes! To book the Sanctuary Lamp, please click "Request Memorial" on the top right corner of the Mass Booking calendar (located throughout "Book a Mass Intention" Button) and select one of the available dates listed for the Sanctuary Lamp. Once you fill out the required fields, simply Add to Cart and then Proceed to Checkout when you have selected all the Mass Intentions and Memorials you wish to purchase at this time.
How many Mass intentions do you accept per mass? There can only be one intention per Mass, unless it is a Wednesday evening, at 7pm, or Saturday Morning at 8:30am, at which there are multiple Mass Intentions
How do I make my donation online? Currently, you can only use a credit card to donate online. If you wish to use a cheque or cash, you will need to call the office to arrange the intention
Do I have to book it online myself now? No! You can still call the parish office, or email us at [email protected] to book a Mass intention.
