The Rosary Apostolate is a non-profit association of volunteers in the community who have a great devotion to the Mother of God and give freely of their time and talents to lead children into a deeper relationship with God through prayer. They teach children in our Catholic schools how to pray the Holy Rosary through regular visitations and praying with them. This is a highly successful program for our children and their families.
The Rosary Apostolate volunteers regularly visit 5 schools in the Pickering Region, and 2 schools in the Ajax Region from October to May and reach a total of 226 classrooms. In this they work with and teach 3135 students who thoroughly enjoy the 20+ leaders who bring the Rosary and Mother Mary into theirs hearts. Each month also has a different theme.
In the bigger picture, there are about 1500+ volunteers in Ontario who have been faithfully visiting our classrooms for 25 years and currently reach out to 120,000+ children and youth in our Catholic schools. They are a great inspiration to our students!
