Our ushers and greeters, also known as our Ministers of Hospitality, have the responsibility of greeting and welcoming all the parishioners as they enter the church. With a friendly and warm smile they help people find a seat, answer questions, take the collection, and lend a watchful eye at Holy Communion.
Ushers also handle any emergencies that may occur during Mass. Many have taken their first aid training and received their certificates. Their friendliness, warmth, helpfulness and dependability are essential to the success of the community of St. Isaac Jogues.
We currently have 37 ushers assisting our parishioners every weekend.
