In the last 24 hours, we learned that a parishioner has tested positive for Covid-19. The individual was present in the parish hall for Mass at noon (12pm) on Sunday, November 1, 2020. The parishioner was wearing a mask and appropriately distanced throughout their time in the hall. They are currently feeling well and in a period of self-isolation at home. Both the Archdiocese of Toronto and Durham Public Health are aware of the positive test.
It has been determined that this case presents a very low risk of transmission. At this time, we ask that all parishioners continue to self-monitor for symptoms. As we have said in the past, if you are not feeling well or are experiencing Covid-19 symptoms, please do not come to church, connect with your family doctor or consider getting tested for Covid-19.
